Yeah I was going to ask that same question... which led me to the question (that i know the answer to it is somewhere) but to play GWEN... it says we only need one of the chapters... but my question is.. is that specific chapter Prophices or could it be any? I'm assuming by the map they mean that you need prophices but by saying you only need one of the chapter to play... was a little confusing.

Any campaign. Each campaign has it's own way of leading you to the new lands in Tyria. If you don't have prophecies, you still play on the Tyria world map, you just don't have the rest of Tyria.

You're a few weeks late already. People have noticed. A lot of people.

i will be interested to see how they let people with factions and NF only get to those areas. my guess is that theres a whole new map underneath tyria that people need to travel through to go to the diff parts of tyria.

Yes, the Depths of Tyria go under all of Tyria, including Elona and Cantha. Quick travel from Cantha and Elona is made possible by Asura gates, which can teleport you across great distances.

I guess that makes sense.. it just looked like you might have been able to get from one area to other areas in prophices... so that's why i was wondering what would happen if it wasn't Prophices that you owned. But yeah makes sense.
